About the Coffee
We love to drink coffee at all hours of the day, but we believe you should never have to sacrifice good flavor for a good night's sleep. So we struck gold with the solution: The most delicious Colombian decaf coffee we could get our hands on. Using the sugarcane method of decaffeination, the process involves steaming green coffee to open up the pores and submerging the beans in a solution of water and ethyl acetate, a naturally occurring compound derived from the fermentation of sugarcane. The solvent extracts the caffeine without extracting its inherit flavors and aroma, and the result is a sweeter coffee than can be enjoyed as a cup of drip or espresso.
